Full power Yamaha YZF-R7 vs restricted R7 on the Dyno
Dave at Dynobike had the chance to compare a full power Yamaha YZF-R7 on the Dyno with a learner restricted YZF-R7.
The latter gives away 34cc cc in engine capacity at 655 cc while the full power Yamaha YZF-R7 has the full 689 cc.
What makes the comparison interesting is that both motorcycles have the same modifications and were dyno tuned.
The results surprising with the actual numbers between the two being very similar, and perhaps closer than the 34 cc deficit of the restricted YZF-R7 would suggest.
