Dave has tuned countless LAMS and non-LAMS versions of this popular bike, optimising performance for riders of all levels.

Today, Dave is testing the brand-new 2024 Honda CBR650R E-Clutch, featuring Honda’s innovative automatic clutch system.

Unlike Yamaha’s fully automatic MT-09 Y-AMT, the CBR650R retains a traditional clutch and gear setup, the same as previous models. However, the E-Clutch automatically engages the clutch for seamless operation while allowing riders to manually override it should they want to.

This cutting-edge system makes motorcycling more accessible, especially for new riders, without sacrificing the control seasoned riders crave.

Naturally, Dave was eager to put this 2024 CBR650R on the dyno to compare its performance before and after derestriction.
