At the Press of a Button, Choose from two exhaust tones.
Vandemon has developed a unique Bi-modal muffler that allows you to switch between OEM quiet and straight-through unrestricted power with a distinctive sound by simply pressing a button. This custom exhaust system is constructed from polished Ti1 Titanium and features a unique muffler with two separate chambers, effectively functioning as two exhaust systems in one.
Here’s how it works:Â A Titanium butterfly valve positioned before the muffler redirects the exhaust gas. When the valve is closed, the gas is directed through a conventional baffled section of the muffler, reducing noise to OEM DB levels. In the open position, the exhaust gas exits through the straight-through un-baffled section of the muffler, providing unrestricted power.
The aftermarket exhaust system eliminates the OEM catalytic converter, heavy steel muffler, and headers, resulting in a much lighter exhaust system. The new exhaust is 50% lighter than the OEM Kawasaki exhaust, thanks to the use of lightweight titanium that is polished to a high lustre. This titanium will retain its appearance without the need for polishing.
Please keep in mind the following information:
When tuning the Stealth exhaust, the technician will customize the tune for the valve open (loud mode). The quiet mode should only be used in suburban and city areas where the engine operates at lower speeds. The Stealth mode restricts power increase and creates excessive exhaust back pressure if the engine is revved above 6000 RPM.
The sole purpose of this exhaust is for the rider to be able to quieten the exhaust so as not to cause a nuisance to the general public and not be noticed when required, as well as have the luxury of a louder and more powerful exhaust when out on the open roads.
Tuning Information – Tuning is not required to correct the ZH2’s A/F ratio and is only necessary if you wish to derestrict the OEM throttle limiter to achieve additional power above 10,000 rpm.
Is a Servo Delete Module required? – The Australian model ZH2 has no factory exhaust valve and servo; hence, there is no need to use a servo delete device. USA and Euro models and potentially other countries will have the OEM exhaust valve and servo and would need a servo delete device to prevent a fault light from coming on which can also be turned off in your ECU during a tune, avoiding the need for a servo delete module.

WHY BUY A TITANIUM EXHAUST?
Due to its strength, weight, and corrosion resistance, Titanium is found in the most demanding applications on Aircraft airframes, jet engine compressor blades and ducting, deep-sea saltwater vessels, steam turbine blades, rocket motor cases, etc. F1 and MotoGP.
OTHER ADVANTAGES OF TITANIUM:
- Very light, Increased power too weight ratio
- It won’t corrode or change colour from exposure to water
- Never need polishing like stainless steel & aluminium
- Dissipates heat twice as fast as stainless steel
- It won’t distort or oxidise at high temperatures
IMPORTANT! Vandemon Exhaust systems are designed for performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because the results would be no different from what your OEM exhaust can already achieve. Check with your country’s governing body regarding noise emission standards rules, and regulations.
