Description

Kawasaki H2 SE/SX Vandemon Titanium Exhaust System 2018-21

With the addition of the SE/SX to the H2 family, a new approach was required which would complement Kawasaki’s new hyper tourer, so we set about creating another titanium masterpiece that would complement the latest addition to the H2 range.

Headers had to be re-designed entirely to accommodate round exhaust ports, and the challenge was to use tighter radius bends to squeeze the headers into the bodywork so to achieve much-needed clearance from fairings. The muffler also required a whole new approach compared to the H2R slash-cut style muffler, due to the panniers proximity to exhaust gases. So we set about designing a muffler that would direct the exiting gases away from the pannier as well as offer a moderate increase in sound over the OEM exhaust” and look great with bags on or off! And we think we came up with something extraordinary, an exhaust that significantly reduces weight, enhances the sound and appearance and importantly performance.

Material: Ti1 Brushed Titanium
Muffler: Ti1 Brushed Titanium with Carbon Fibre Tip
Production year: 2018-21
Power: + 8hp
Weight: Total 5.5kg ( OEM Exhaust System 14.1kg )
Noise: 105 Db at 5500rpm
12 x 1.25 & 18 x 1.5mm O2 sensor provision
Application: Road and Track

Appearance:

The surface finish is a natural brushed finish, which when heated after one ride changes to all colours of the spectrum. The added advantage over stainless steel that Titanium won’t stain corrode or ever need polishing as Titanium has a high resistance to acid’s and salt as well as dissipates heat twice as fast as stainless steel.

Manufacture:

We at Vandemon use a closely guarded welding process which welds both sides of each joint which makes for ultrasonically perfect joints with a beautiful & consistent overlapping fish bone appearance.

Tuning:

Tuning to suit is recommended by a competent technician.

Vandemon Exhaust systems achieve maximum performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because simply the results would be no different than what your OEM exhaust can already achieve.

WHY BUY A TITANIUM EXHAUST?

Due to its strength, weight and corrosion quality’s Titanium is found in the most demanding applications on Aircraft airframes, jet engine compressor blades and ducting, deep-sea saltwater vessels, steam turbine blades, rocket motor cases and F1 and MotoGP.

OTHER ADVANTAGES OF TITANIUM:

Very light, Increase power to weight ratio
Won’t corrode or change colour from exposure to water
Never need polishing like stainless steel & aluminium.
Dissipate Heat twice as fast as Stainless Steel
Won’t distort or oxidise at High Temperatures

IMPORTANT! VANDEMON EXHAUST SYSTEMS DESIGNED FOR PERFORMANCE AND MODEST SOUND IMPROVEMENTS.  VANDEMON DO NOT TRY TO MEET NOISE EMISSION STANDARDS BECAUSE SIMPLY THE RESULTS WOULD BE NO DIFFERENT THAN WHAT YOUR OEM EXHAUST CAN ALREADY ACHIEVE. CHECK YOUR AUSTRALIA’S ADR’s FOR NOISE EMISSION STANDARDS RULES AND REGULATIONS.
