This long standing power plant from Yamaha has a versatile power and torque characteristic. Taking this into consideration it’s important to concentrate on its shortfall. Touchy throttle, lack of low down throttle response and an inconsistent feeling when cruising. All these issues are resolved with this tune, you’ll notice the second you get back on this bike, more torque, great throttle response from low down, a smoother ride and a cooler running engine.

• Fuel and ignition optimizing to suit Australian/New Zealand fuel
• Throttle % restrictions removed
• Speed and gear base  limits removed, (note this bike is speed limited to 205 km)
• Disable injector decal cut
