Description

BMW R1250GS Adventure Titanium Headers Only & OEM Valve Function

Fits Production dates from 2019 – 2023

Vandemon exhaust headers free up lost power by removing restrictions from the OEM catalytic converter whilst allowing the use of the OEM BMW muffler.

Manufactured from lightweight Ti1 Titanium, a weight saving of 2.3kg is delivered, which is a significant weight reduction for those needing to stay under the motorcycle’s maximum load rating where your bike can become heavily burdened with provisions and equipment needed for one’s journey.

This system retains the ECU-controlled OEM Valve which means that the exhaust servo is retained and there is no need for a servo delete module to be procured or need to be disabled in a tune to prevent a dash warning light from appearing. Retaining this OEM function improves rideability at lower rpm with no effect on peak performance and will allow the exhaust to remain acceptably loud at cruise and light throttle openings and when the throttle is opened aggressively the ECU opens the valve to enable full free-flow performance. and sound.

By replacing your OEM exhaust, the heavy catalytic converter is deleted, which is a significant source of heat generation due to a chemical reaction that takes place. In addition, Titanium cools twice as fast as the OEM stainless steel exhaust and won’t stain, corrode or need polishing to maintain its appearance.

When installing our optional headers remapping the ECU is recommended in order to prevent the check engine light from appearing as well as to optimise performance and throttle response.

  • Material: Ti1 Titanium
  • With Inline Exhaust Valve for OEM functionality
  • Surface finish: Brushed

  • Torque +6.9n/m at 2700rpm
  • Weight: 2.5kg
  • Noise Db 88 Using OEM muffler

Appearance:

The surface finish is a natural brushed Titanium which, when heated after only one ride, changes to all layers of the colour spectrum with the added advantage over stainless steel that Titanium won’t stain, corrode or ever need polishing. In addition, Titanium has a very high resistance to acid salt and dissipates heat twice as fast as steel.

Manufacture:

We at Vandemon use a closely guarded welding process that welds both sides of each joint, making for ultrasonically perfect joints with a beautiful & consistent overlapping fishbone appearance.

Tuning:

Tuning to suit is recommended by a competent technician.

WHY BUY A TITANIUM EXHAUST?

Due to its strength, weight and corrosion quality, Titanium is found in the most demanding applications on Aircraft airframes, jet engine compressor blades and ducting, deep-sea saltwater vessels, steam turbine blades, rocket motor cases, etc. F1 and MotoGP.

OTHER ADVANTAGES OF TITANIUM:

  • Very light, Increased power to weight ratio
  • Won’t corrode or change colour from exposure to water
  • Never needs polishing like stainless steel & aluminium.
  • Dissipate heat twice as fast as Stainless Steel
  • Won’t distort or oxidise at High Temperatures
IMPORTANT! Vandemon Exhaust systems are designed for performance and modest sound improvements. We at Vandemon do not try to meet noise emission standards because the results would be no different than what your OEM exhaust can already achieve. Check with your country’s governing body regarding noise emission standards rules and regulations.
