NTR ADV R2 SHOCK

The most rugged of our shocks, perfect partner for the road and adventure riding.

Specifically designed and built for Dual Sport and Adventure bikes, the Adventure Series shocks offer exceptional year-round road and trail performance like no other.

Using billet aluminium components, Adventure shocks vastly improve the ride/handling of the bike at a significantly reduced weight compared to a standard shock.

Adventure shocks feature heavy-duty 16mm rods and a high-flow 46mm piston, both of which are custom tuned and developed for the demands of long-haul road commutes through to Paris-Dakar style endurance events.

Totally dependable, fade-resistant and hand built with ultra-low friction components, the NTR ADV R2 shock is made to last on the road and off. Piggyback reservoir allow for tool-free, quick, simple and independent control of compression and rebound damping. The specifics of the Africa Twin threw up several challenges and as fitment to the very latest models seems to dictate, shocks have to operate within a very confined space. One example is the all new large capacity piggyback reservoir which is offset to the main shock body. Tests have shown that this design gives optimum dispersal of heat whilst enabling excellent fine tuning of small bump ride performance.
Bi-Axis Hose Fittings

NTR Hose shocks are fitted with Nitron’s exclusively developed Bi-Axis fittings that allow for simple and precise installation.

Titanium Finish

Titanium and hard-anodised parts are hand built to last not only the lengthiest endurance races but also the harshest of winters.

This shock features spring preload adjustment. It comes preset for damping and preload and includes the bearing end spacers and preload c-spanner.

When ordering, please provide us with your weight. Every shock is made to order and we need this information to configure the optimum spring rate. Your given weight should be as accurate as possible and include all standard riding gear (helmet, leathers, etc.).

Hydraulic Preload Adjuster
This shock is available fitted with the unique Hydraulic Preload Adjuster for simple, immediate and accurate adjustments without the need for any tools. To help with ease of use Nitron recommends that this shock is fitted with the Hydraulic Preload Adjuster.
